I told you last week I am terrible at predicting which videos I create will perform the best. You saw three examples. Today, we’ll spotlight 4 more videos that should have gotten more views, at least in my opinion.
If you missed these gems the first time around, or if you are new to this site, here’s a chance to experience them.
Be sure to view the entire post. We’ll end with a video that is far and away the best performing, and I can’t figure out why.
Tags save keystrokes. Use them in Remember The Milk to batch your tasks. You handle similar items together. Here’s how to get started.
This video is a good follow-up to the last one. An organized list gets tasks accomplished quicker. Learn how to sort tasks in Remember The Milk so they are automatically batched. This one is for the person with a Remember The Milk Pro account.
Remap the Print Screen key so you can easily snip any portion of the screen with the touch of just one key. The video shows how. This is a technique I use every single day.
Google Lens has been around for a while. Now it’s “front and center.” Learn why it’s easier to use and why you may start using it. It’s like “copy and paste” for anything in the physical world. It’s also the easiest way to take text from a book and turn it into editable digital text.
Personally, I can’t figure it out. I don’t know if somehow the YouTube algorithm grabbed it and started suggesting it. It’s one I enjoyed making and it did make a huge difference for me as a student. I don’t see it as being nearly as close to our average day-to-day activities as the others in this post.
However, it has received almost 10 times as many views as the four good videos in this post and the three in the last post combined.
If you haven’t already done so, watch the videos spotlighted in the last post, 3 Videos That Should Have Gotten Many More Views.
Revisit this post a few times. Choose another video each time to view and implement into your own practice.
