You took tons of photos on your last trip. The details have run together. Here’s help.
Imagine this: You’re back from an amazing trip (like Spain, maybe?) and have hundreds of photos. But remembering exactly where you were and what you saw in each picture can be tough. Our phones make it easy to take unlimited pictures. They are essential to preserving cherished memories. But, the sights of new places can run together. The significance of that building can get lost.
- Here’s the solution:
- Use Google Photos: It’s easy to upload all your pictures here.
- Activate Google Lens: It’s that little magnifying glass icon.
- Click and drag to highlight anything in your photo: A building, a landmark, even a piece of food!
- Copy the information Google Lens gives you: It might tell you the name of the building, the artist who painted the artwork, or the type of cuisine.
- Paste that info into the “Info” section of your Google Photo.
- Now, every photo has a mini-story attached to it! It’s like having your own personal travel journal built right into your photos.
- Try it out while the memories are still fresh! You’ll be so glad you did.

- Click on the 3-dot menu button on the upper right-hand
- More Tools
- Customize Chrome
- Toolbar
- Look for “Search with Google Lens” and turn on the switch.
- The icon (which looks like a camera) will appear in the toolbar. Clicking it will allow you to highlight any portion of the screen and search.
