Evernote Recently Release a New Update for Android. My favorite feature is the prominent “+” sign within the green circle, a one-tap means of creating a new note. Holding that green button reveals a icons representing each of the different types of notes which can be created.
The other welcomed addition is having a web-clipper on the app. The web-clipper has always been a easy way to take any website being viewed and put its contents into Evernote. With the new app, when you are on a website, you can select “share” and choose “Evernote.” A green circle starts to spin as its sends the website’s content into your Evernote account.
This video shows off the app. For those who not not currently use Evernote on a regular basis, the video may be just the motivation to get familiar with this fantastic productivity app.

October 6, 2014 7:09 pmI received a comment privately from a reader who says, “No question – just a comment. I use EV widget all the time. I had not thought about using two widgets to avoid the sinkhole of choosing. Now I can have all I want. Brilliant!”
Indeed, the widget caused me to start using Evernote on the fly a great deal more. Sometimes a small thing is a big thing.
